The “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign, culminating in a citizen-led cleanliness drive on October 1st, needed to activate public participation across urban and rural India. The challenge: how to turn a single-day event into a mass movement with measurable impact.
Its journey from an average-performing municipality to a national model is a case study in sustained campaign execution, data-backed delivery, and strategic public engagement.
By aligning digital infrastructure with urban planning, governance, and sustainability goals, South Korea pioneered a replicable model for other countries looking to build urban intelligence with policy as its backbone.
Our Role
We worked closely with the ministry and communication agencies to drive citizen participation and message amplification. Our contributions included:

Developing sub-campaign ideas and weekly engagement themes leading up to October 1st

Creating a media amplification plan across news, radio, and social platforms

Designing the measurement framework for campaign media impact

Managing video production for key government stories

Handling influencer partnerships and journalist engagement at the district level
